About Dr Magda
I am an accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist supporting adults with their mental health and emotional wellbeing. Since 2008, I have worked with people facing a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, and the impact of traumatic experiences.
I also work with people who are adjusting to major life changes, including parenthood, health challenges, and other transitions that can leave us feeling overwhelmed, uncertain, or disconnected from ourselves.
My aim is to provide evidence-based support that is understanding, collaborative, and tailored to your unique needs, helping you gain a greater understanding of your experiences and make the changes that matter most to you.
I offer both face-to-face and video sessions, allowing you to choose the format that best suits your needs. Face-to-face appointments are held in Knowle, a convenient location with easy access from the M42, Birmingham, and the wider West Midlands. Online sessions provide a flexible alternative, enabling you to access therapy wherever you feel most comfortable.
My approach
Our early relationships play an important role in how we see ourselves and connect with others.
When those early experiences felt unpredictable, distant, or painful, they can influence how we relate in adulthood—affecting our relationships, confidence, and emotions.
Using Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) I help clients to understand how their thoughts, emotions and behaviours interact. Together we identify unhelpful patterns and create practical tools to help them manage challenges, build resilience and make meaningful change. In my practice I integrate third wave approaches such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR).
I offer a passionate and caring environment grounded in empathy, respect, and understanding. Therapy is a collaborative process, where we work together to support meaningful change in a way that feels right for you because everyone deserves to lead a life worth living not just existing.
Sessions are available both online and face to face, offering flexibility and convenience to fit your lifestyle. Face-to-face appointments are held in Knowle, near Solihull, conveniently located for clients travelling from Birmingham and surrounding areas, with easy access from the M42.
